The Board of Trustees (BOT), elected by the congregation, consists of 11 voting members of the congregation and is responsible for the program and business affairs of the congregation as well as the use of its property. The BOT meets monthly at least ten times annually and works in collaboration with the ministers and committees of the congregation to enrich the lives of members and friends.

The Board fills vacancies (occurring between Annual Meetings) in its own ranks or in the other elected committees (Nominating and Leadership Development Committee, Auditing Committee, Endowment Committee, Committee on Ministries, and Ministerial Search Committee). Persons so appointed hold office until the next annual meeting, or until their successors have been elected and qualified.

The responsibilities of the BOT include:

Being available for consultation between monthly meetings, either by phone or email.
Being available and responsive to all members of the congregation, the ministers and staff.
Attending monthly board meetings and special meetings of the board such as an annual retreat, planning session or other emergency meetings.
Being a Greeter and to reading the Announcements, at Sunday services.
Attending all-congregation events.
Being a liaison to a standing committee. With the exception of the executive board (Chair, Vice-chair, Clerk, and Treasurer), all trustees are “at large,” holding no particular portfolio. The standing committees are:
- Worship
- Religious Education
- Music
- Social Justice
- Membership
- Communications
- Stewardship, which establishes Annual Giving and Planned Giving
- Finance
- Buildings and Grounds
- Human Resources
