Feedback on Strategic Plan: Members of the board and the strategic planning committee will be available in the foyer after both services Sunday, November 11 and again after the 11:00 am service on November 18th to get your feedback on the draft strategic plan that came from the congregational conversations & survey in September. Film Screening & Discussion- 82 Names: Syria, Please Don’t Forget Us Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00 PM at Temple Israel, 14 Coleytown Road. In this documentary Mansour Omari, a refugee of torture and imprisonment in Bashar al-Assad’s Syria, reflects on bringing attention to the brutal regime he escaped, visiting Holocaust memorials in Germany to learn about the importance of preserving the past and countering extremist ideology.
Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: Thursday, November 15th at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Religious leaders from local churches and synagogues will lead us in prayers and songs representing a cross section of religious traditions including a reading and translation from the Qur’an. A combined Norfield Congregational Church (Weston) and Unitarian Church choir and the Norfield Bell Choir will provide music. All are welcome.
