A Celebration of James Baldwin and the causes for which he stood on the 30th anniversary of his death.
Saturday, December 2 from 4:30-8:30 PM – Baldwin Scholars, film showing, discussion
• 4:30 PM – a three-person panel discussion of Baldwin’s groundbreaking novel Giovanni’s Room (1956) – a searing exploration of love, identity and social alienation.
• 6:00 PM – reception and light refreshments.
• 7:00 PM – screening of the award winning classic film James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket. The film was directed by Unitarian Church-member Karen Thorsen and is still being shown all over the world.

WREATH SALES ARE HERE NEXT 2 SUNDAYS! The Youth Group will be selling wreaths for the holiday season on Sundays, November 26th and December 3, from about 10:00 am to 1:00pm. We will be selling 12″, 16″ and 20″ wreaths and bows
Our NVC/Compassionate Communication Practice Group will be meeting this Monday, November 27 from 7:00-9:00 in library off the main foyer. Come experience first-hand how this process creates connection and helps resolve real life struggles.
