CELEBRATING SCOTUS RULING WITH #JUSTMARRIAGE

The U.S. Supreme Court issued their 5 to 4 ruling in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges, establishing federal recognition of same-sex marriage. As Unitarian Universalists, we not only open our doors to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, we value diversity of sexuality and gender and see it as a spiritual gift. In our congregations and spiritual communities, we welcome all, we affirm same-sex marriage (and have for decades), and we continue to challenge laws and attitudes that discriminate.

From Beacon Press: Love's Promises
