Building Bridges is a World Religions program to deepen youth’s understanding of the varied world in which they live. It seeks to broaden their knowledge of humanity and embolden their spiritual search.
The class will meet – when ON-SITE at 11:00 am BUT AT VARYING TIMES WHEN OFF-SITE visits (depending upon the house of worship that they are visiting.

Parents are welcome to join their youth on these visits and may drive other children in the group (to assist the Group Facilitators to get everyone to the site. Drivers are required to provide copies of: proof of license and insurance before the trip. This year we will encourage a few independent trips by families on their own (Christmas & New Year’s day).
Sessions include: UU – the journey starts at home, Indigenous Religions, Hinduism, Judaism, Intro to Eastern Religions, Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, the 1800’s Five new Religions, Evangelical Christianity, Quakers, Humanism, Cults (lose your will, lose your soul), Neo-Paganism: The sacredness of creation, Wider & Stronger
(in a two year cycle with Tapestry of Faith curriculum: “Heed the Call: Qualities of a Justice Maker” – planned for 2017-2018)
