For 11 years Mary worked as the DRE at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury. Mary has a BA in Early Childhood Education from Southern CT State University and has been trained through the UUA’s Renaissance Modules and other training opportunities in the following areas:
- Administration of RE programs
- Curriculum Planning in the local Congregation
- Developing a Philosophy of Religious Education
- Training Religious Education Teachers/Leaders
- Unitarian Universalist History
- Unitarian Universalist Identity
- Worship for all Ages

Mary has a deep interest in exploring systemic poverty, class, race issues and the cultural differences and treatment of immigrants. For the past twelve years I’ve been interested in magic and story- telling, and have performed these skills at many schools, libraries and birthday parties.
