Call to Order and Purpose of the Meeting:
The Board of Trustees has received the recommendations of the Constitution Revision Task Force and is calling a Membership Meeting to review, amend, and/or approve proposed changes to the Constitution (last amended in 2015).
Establish Quorum and Appoint Moderator:
Fifteen percent (15%) of the number of members as reported by the Clerk at the last annual meeting shall constitute a quorum. An independent Moderator for this meeting will be nominated and voted.
Rationale for the Proposed Amendments:
The Task Force will present the objectives that underlie the proposed changes:
- Changes to enable transition to policy based governance;
- Eliminate proscriptive (policy & procedure) language;
- Conformance to current practice in governance and management.
Discussion/Debate/Vote on Changes:
The Moderator will facilitate full member participation in discussion and amending/revising proposed amendments to the Task Force’s proposed changes and call for a vote to approve as amended.
Adjournment:
At the Annual Meeting, June 12, 2016, members will vote to ratify changes.

Q How long will this meeting take?
A That’s hard to tell – it depends on how prepared members are ahead of time and how many amendments to the proposed changes will be made/debated and voted. Plan on about 2 hours at most.

A Lunch and Childcare will be provided.
